Planet Pharmacies strongly believes that a large part the quantum of its success is measured by the amount of work it is able to do for the society. Some of the ways in which we try to make a difference in other people’s lives are –

Our UAE retail division, gains the Ministry of Health – Drug Control Department certification to serve hearing and visually impaired customers. Health First Pharmacy is the first chain of pharmacies in the nation to receive such accreditation. As a due process of the certification, Health First Pharmacy hosted a 5 hour CME certification lecture titled, ‘Guidelines to pharmacists for dispensing medicine for deaf and blind patients’. The lecture is part of a training that will aid Health First Pharmacy outlets across the Emirates, to better serve all members of society with utmost and specialized care.

Red Crescent

We supply the Red Crescent Society with medications at subsidized rates. We also dispense medicines to patients referred by them as ‘less fortunate’ at highly discounted rates on a case by case basis.

We have signed a memorandum of understanding with Al Qudra Holdings to collaborate on any health care initiatives they launch for the community in Abu Dhabi.

The Dubai Holding Vertical Marathon is a run up 52 flights of stairs at the prestigious Jumeirah Emirates Towers. The event has been held for over a decade and is organized by Jumeirah Emirates Towers in collaboration with the Al Jalila Foundation. Health First Pharmacy supported this event in 2014.
